What is KYBELLA®?
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” The technical name for KYBELLA® is deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a natural substance made by the human liver to allow fat digestion in the gastrointestinal tract. KYBELLA® takes advantage of this action to digest fat unwanted fat beneath the skin.
